What pots does the Phal Pal™ fit?
The Phal Pal™ is designed to work with a wide range of common plastic orchid pots. Multiple kit configurations are available to accommodate different pot sizes and support requirements.

The mounting system attaches directly to compatible pots without requiring any modification.
What are the materials used in making the Phal Pal?
The mounting piece and extension arm are laser cut from 1/8″ (3mm) acrylic (PMMA) sheet. The heads are constructed either of laser cut acrylic parts bonded together with acrylic solvent cement, or 3d printed from PETG plastic. The fasteners are made of nylon. All the materials used are resistant to degradation from repeated exposure to moisture and UV light.
Will it fit ceramic pots or decorative containers?
No, it will only mount to the plastic inner pot. As with all orchids, it is recommended if a decorative pot is used, that there be adequate air space so the root system gets plenty of air. The space required by the Phal Pal will vary depending on the mount selected, but generally about 9mm, or somewhere between 3/8 -1/2″ of space is needed for the mount to not be constricted by the pot. In other words, if you have a 5″ plastic pot, your decorative pot should be about 6″. Also, we recommend the plastic pot be set just higher than the rim of the decorative pot so the extension arm can slide over top. We have found this setup to be optimal not only for the orchid, but also for the maximum functionality of the Phal Pal.
Can I return the Phal Pal if it doesn’t fit?

What if my pot is wider than 5″?
Larger pots may require extension arms (sold separately) or multiple Phal Pals linked together for adequate support.
Will it damage my orchid or pot?
No. The Phal Pal™ is designed to mount securely to the rim of compatible plastic pots without requiring any modification or causing damage.
The support head is designed to make gentle contact with the plant. When properly adjusted so that the flat surface of the head rests against the plant, it provides stable support without harming the orchid.
As with any support system, proper positioning is important. The head should be adjusted to avoid edge contact or excessive pressure on the plant.
Can I get replacement parts?

Is there a warranty?
Each Phal Pal is inspected before shipment and is guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. If your order arrives damaged or defective, we will replace or refund it in accordance with our Shipping & Return Policy.
Can I get a custom mount made for my specific pot?
Yes, custom mounts can be made for specific pots. To ensure the best possible fit, we require precise measurements of the pot—particularly the rim dimensions and wall thickness. We recommend using digital calipers and providing clear reference photos of your setup when placing your order.
Because custom mounts are produced based on customer-provided measurements, fit accuracy depends on the precision of those measurements. While we make every effort to match the specifications provided, variations in measurement or pot geometry may affect the final fit.
